1. How to make Matcha

Before we dive into our custom creations, let’s go back to the roots. A classic bowl of matcha is the heart of every variation — simple, pure, and full of flavor. Whether you’re new to matcha or just need a refresher, this basic recipe is your go-to guide for preparing the perfect cup.

Instructions:

  1. Add 1 tsp Matcha into a cup or bowl
  2. Ass 30ml of hot water (Not boiling – around 80 degree)
  3. Whisk in a Zig Zag motion until the Matcha is foamy
  4. Enjoy your Matcha!

2. Manuca Matcha Latte

Soothing • Grounding • Creamy

A calming matcha latte sweetened naturally with New Zealand’s Manuka honey. Perfect for slow mornings or cozy afternoons.

Recipe Manuca Matcha Latte

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp Matcha Aroha ceremonial-grade matcha
  • 1 tbsp Manuka honey
  • 200 ml oat milk (or milk of choice)
  • 30 ml warm water (not boiling — around 80°C)
  • Bamboo chasen whisk (or milk frother)

Instructions:

  1. Sift the matcha into a bowl to remove clumps.
  2. Add warm water and whisk until frothy using a chasen or milk frother.
  3. Gently warm oat milk and stir in the Manuka honey.
  4. Pour the whisked matcha into your milk and stir.
  5. Serve warm in your favorite mug

3. Strawberry Matcha Latte

Fruity • Refreshing • Beautiful in layers
A fresh twist on the classic, combining creamy matcha with sweet strawberry puree. Great iced or warm.

Recipe Strawberry Matcha Latte

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp Matcha Aroha matcha
  • 3–4 fresh strawberries (or 2 tbsp strawberry puree)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup or sugar (optional)
  • 200 ml milk (almond or oat work well)
  • Ice cubes (if served iced)

Instructions:

  1. Mash strawberries with syrup to make a chunky puree (or blend for a smoother texture).
  2. Add the puree to the bottom of your glass.
  3. Fill with ice, then pour in cold milk.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk matcha with cold water until smooth.
  5. Slowly pour the matcha over the milk to create a layered effect. Stir before sipping!

4. Iced Matcha Yuzu Spritz

Zesty • Bubbly • Light
A sparkling matcha refresher infused with Japanese yuzu — a favorite for warm afternoons or picnic days.

Recipe Yuzu Matcha Spiritz

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp Matcha Aroha matcha
  • 1 tbsp yuzu juice (or mix lemon + orange if yuzu is unavailable)
  • 1 tsp agave syrup or honey
  • 150 ml sparkling water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. In a cup, mix yuzu juice and syrup.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk matcha with 30 ml cold water until fully blended.
  3. Fill your glass with ice, pour in the yuzu mix, then matcha.
  4. Top with sparkling water and stir gently. 
  5. Garnish with a mint leaf or yuzu peel for extra flair.
